is there any sort of law to prevent mechanices to keep your car in the shop forever?
We bought a used car from a car lot On july 24th. About 2 days after we purchased it the transmission light went on so we took it back to the car lot. the salesman was so nice and understanding until the 5th day after the sale was finalized... turns out Colorados lemon law only gives you five days from the day of purchase yo file a law-suit... well On august 17th we took it in to a transmission shop where they told us they would keep it over night to do some work to it... well we diodnt get it back until the 25th of AUG, when we got it back we had it for around 5 hours and were stranded again so the same day we had it towed back to the shop, now here we are September 5th and my car is still in the shop. I call daily to check the status and the mechanic alway assures me it will be dont by the end of the day... we went today to see how it was going and they were all outside bullshitting with eachother. I need to have my car! is there any sory of law that states a mechanic has to fisnish a car in a certain amount of time? or is there anything i can do??? please let me know I AM SOOOO MAD!
