God is the basis for morality and sets the rules for morality right. So the argument is moot... if one believes in the Biblical God, their morals are based on Him. If one believes in a Pagan God their morals are based on that God. So to ask how one could be "morally better", you'd have to ask by whose standards? The God of the Bible, the Pagan God, or the standard that man thinks is moral which would be disputed by anyone believing in a God?
