...taken out? My friend found an iPhone the other day and is really paranoid about it getting tracked, because he wants to keep it. I told him to try to return it, but he's refusing me and asking me to help him bring it into his use. I'm just wondering, he's already taken out and disposed of the SIM card, so with that said, can anyone track him? I know cellphone carriers CAN track down the location of a phone, but will they? If there was a tracking device on the phone, maybe MobileMe, FamilyMap, or some other tracking application, is it possible that he'll still get tracked even without a SIM card inside?
Is there ANY possible way for someone to track down an iPhone 3G if the sim card is...
