Is there any point in keeping a 3RROD'd Xbox 360 which has had a falied repair attempt?

I got 1 red ring, i attempted repair which wrecked the innerds a wee bit and then i got 3 red rings. There are no spare parts ON the xbox 360 console to make it worth keeping however should i keep the power brick or those AV cables? Or if the 360 got the RROD would the power brick not work?
