is there any online games with a story line?

im looking for a pc game like final fantasy or kingdom hearts on the ps2 but for pc,im looking for a game with a story line in it. not just going places and gaining levels. can any body help me?
 
Well Final Fantasy 11 does have a story line but of course it is very mediocre and very spread out. Have you tried Fallout 3? Its not online but very popular. It plays like Oblivion but with guns and weapons in post apocalyptic times. the story is awesome and you can easily spend 120 hours playing that game. Good replay value too.
