Yes! Most betta fish love peas. I buy the frozen peas at the grocery store and defrost them in a cup of dechlorinated water. Then I take the skin off and separate the two halves. Next I squish one of the halves a little between my fingers (just enough to make it soft) and then hold it in the tank where the betta can see it. They love to grab the pea and carry it around the tank. They rip off little chunks of it and eat it. It's great to give them a pea every week or so because it helps to keep them from becoming constipated.
