Is there any difference between a 1989 tranny for a jeep cherokee 5sp. 4x4 and an 1985..

...jeep 5sp 4x4? I need 2 know if the two are interchangeable. unbolt one and bolt onto the other with out having to change anything.
 
my friend has jeep cherokee i don't know what year but it has a 400 turbo trans and my neighbor has a mid 80's jeep that has a 6cy.eng. .if no one gives you the answer u need e-mail me back an i'll go get my manel out of the shed it may have the answer u need i have a 78 jeep j-10 pick-up on trans.i just bet it has your answer in it.
