Is there any country that allows immigration that is not a part of "western

civilization"? I am a very big fan of different cultures, and I have always wanted to immerse myself in, and ultimately settle and set down roots in a different culture and country. But every country I look at that actually allows immigration into the country seems culturally identical to me. They are all European founded countries and cultures, which I have already experienced fully. Are there any other countries out there for me? All of the interesting cultures like China, Japan, India, Africa, and the middle eastern nations seem to discourage or outright ban immigration!? Please somebody help me find a potential new home. My only requirements are a country that allows immigration, where I won't get kidnapped or murdered, and has a starkly different culture from European founded nations. I already speak 4 languages, so I am not afraid to learn a 5th. I am comfortable with all religions and races. I am open minded and adaptable. And importantly I have a substantial savings, enough to live on for many years before I establish a new source of income. I am 25, white male, university degree, healthy mentally and physically.
Also, no criminal record.
I am a Canadian citizen currently.
 
You didn't say where you are from, but I'll assume for the sake of this discussion you are from the United States.

Move out to Guam. You've got several advantages to this solution. First, you will still be in the United States. Second, you will experience life much the same as you would in most Southeast Asian nations.... paternalism, nepotism, corruption, bureaucracy and a social caste system that places you right at the bottom of the barrel.

If you're really adventurous try The Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas Islands (Saipan) which is still part of the United States.

Other options are The Marshall Islands, with Kwajalein and Majuro being the most modern, and the Federated States of Micronesia... where Pohnpei is my favorite and Yap the least favorite.

Finally, The Republic of Palau with Babeldaob being a prime destination.
