when they are exonerated? I'm currently watching a television show where they are doing DNA analysis of convicted criminals who have spent many years in prison and have continuously proclaimed that they've been wrongly convicted. So far one of the men has been exonerated by the DNA testing he's been in prison for 26 years, convicted of rape. Family has died, moved away, he has nothing.
Are these people compensated in any way by the system that wrongly took everything from them? I mean think of how different his life could have been at this point if instead of wasting away in prison for the last 26 years he'd been out with his family, working, living.
