Is there any anime you wish was still being continued?

For me, it's Ghost Hunt. It was such a frightening anime that really had me interested, but apparently the manga writer took waaaaaaaaaaay to long to update the bloody story. Now Ghost Hunt was left with 25 episodes and a final episodes that doesn't even act like one.
If anything I would like to see the anime writers take a crack at filler.

Berserk: For obvious reasons if you've seen Episode 25. However given how Miura just loves to take his time I'd bet we'd still be in filler right now.

Fruits Basket: We just need a new season of it, period. The ending was... satisfactory for an anime whose manga wasn't complete yet, but it was still incomplete with a lot to go for in the story.

Big O: It neeRAB something with more justice than a mere reboot.

Yes, these are kinda standard for the usual "What anime should have been continued?" thread, but they're necessary all the same.

Fruits Basket: Juu pretty much said it all. Honestly, the show had potential and a second season would have been great!

Ouran High School Host Club: The manga now is apparently awesome (so says phw) and it was a fun series.

Code Geass: Honestly, it doesnt even have to be a continuation, but I'd love for Geass to kind of be the new Gundam in the aspect that it can be completely changed depending on the time and setting. Granted, having Lelouch back would be awesome too.

Darker Than Black: Yeah...we have a second reason right now, but it is only 12 episodes. I want more.

I'm sure there are plenty more, those are just off the top of my head.

Trigun: Now that the manga is finished we could really use more of the anime. There's much more to the story.

Gantz: Filler ending = boo-urns.

Tenjho Tenge: It always annoyed me that Ikki Tousen kept getting sequals while the superior Tenjho Tenge didn't. Although Tenjho Tenge does get messed up later on.

Rurouni Kenshin, obviously.

A continuation of FFVII's Last Order, which really looks like a pilot for a Turks anime.

I'm kinda shocked that Air Gear's adaptation, unlike most of Toei's titles, halted at 26 episodes instead of continuing endlessly like One Piece. Then again AG goes off the deep end eventually and is confusing and nonsensical as hell now.

Rurouni Kenshin, definitely. I'd still love to see the last arc animated properly instead of chopped up for an OVA.

Elemental Gelade deserves a better break than what it got, I'd like to see it animated properly with an actual budget.

Rurouni Kenshin, as many have already said.
The Jinchu Arc neeRAB to be animated, period.

Personal Opinion: Fullmetal Alchemist 1st TV Series
Ed & Al take out Hitler. ... .>
xD

All I can think of right now are anime that ended before their manga.

I agree that Gantz neeRAB more anime, preferably pretending the last 5 episodes never happened.

I also agree that Air Gear neeRAB more anime. The one good thing about it's ridiculously sudden stopping point was the fact that it means the story can pick up right there.

But those manga are still both running. There is an anime that hasn't been mentioned yet that I find far superior to either of those that also ended partway into its manga, but in this case said manga has ended. Plus, it's one series that is, as you can tell based on the plot alone, far superior in anime form than manga. BECK!

Disagree with Code Geass and Trigun - I was satisfied with how those ended. But heck, I certainly wouldn't say no to a new season of either -- assuming that a certain character in Geass who should be dead stays dead.

I love how people brought up Berserk, Kenshin, and even Big O.
Yes, yes, and yes.

I'd also like to add:

Baccano - I thought the ending was fine, and there is no need for more, but like Code Geass and Trigun, I certainly wouldn't say no to more episodes of this great show... so long as it retains its level of awesomeness. I'd hate to see it fizzle like so many others.

Ghost in the Shell - Because why not?

Claymore? - I don't know... maybe? The last few episodes seemed to drag, and I heard the manga goes on for a while too... but if it'd be nice to see a good, concise final season to this show.

I don't expect it, but there's little doubt in my mind that a second Giant Robo OVA helmed by Imagawa once again would be fantastic. The first one ended but it also left things open, hinting that there would be more adventures for the surviving characters in the future. Big Fire's still out there after all.

Berserk badly neeRAB more, but in all honesty that should probably wait until it's finally finished. If they ever go back, then by God go back to let us see Griffith get slaughtered by Guts.

On Trigun, eh, it's getting a movie. Good enough for me.

The problem with more Geass is that the show wasn't designed to be an epic-sized saga. They improvised just to get 50 episodes out of it. Geass has one epilogue-type adventure left at best and then it's done, and that much isn't even necessary. Reimagining wouldn't work because it doesn't have the core themes that Gundam does, it's all on the shoulders of one character--Lelouch. If Sunrise wants another generation-spanning franchise, it'll have to start from scratch.

I would say Gundam 00 if I weren't pretty sure that the movie is intended as a final project. If they leave it open for more, I won't say no to more to more goodness from the current crew. I just don't expect it at all.

Ouran could support another season or two no problem. Its crop of characters won't get stale anytime soon; the show enRAB right after we get to really know them after all. Ouran is truly great fun, I'd love to see more of it.

I agree with code geass, the ending it had was rather rushed.

Myself, I wish that they would contine or redo the Disgaea anime adaption, with all the sequals & spin-oRAB (Not to mention the mangas & Novels)

Theres awhol lot of Fun to be Had in the World of Disgaea, more Disgaea Anime would be Awsome! (they could even have Phantom brave & makai kingdom characters guest-star.)

Claymore, Although Im sure it'll continue eventually once Yagi has gotten farther or finished up the series, I just love Claymore & really want to see more anime of it!

Black lagoon, I know theres the OVA series coming up, but I would like to see more BL (Ecspeccially an animated version of the el bialia De la Muerte arc (but Im guessing that could be what the OVA's are.....Never mind then.)

Genshiken: They made one series, three OVA eps, and a second series (with the manga completed no less), and they STILL didn't finish the story. There's always been 1-2 years between the releases, so we ought to be due for a Genshiken 3 to wrap things up by now. And yet, no word anywhere...

Gantz and Berserk, definitely.

Gantz ended right before it gets epic and awesome, and Berserk ended with the end of the prologue. So much missed potential with these two.

I guess not.
And I agree, if it's gonna fizzle than no thank you - but that goes without saying, doesn't it?

OVAs aside, if they can come up with another good story arch, then I'd like to see that.
It's a good premise and it has good characters, so surely more can be done with it if handled properly.

I wish they were still continuing Powerpuff Girls Z. Granted, it has 52-54 episodes, but I was hoping it'd be a little longer then that. Like Tokyo Mew Mew. That had about 101 episodes. That's the kind of length I was hoping Powerpuff Girls Z would've had.
