Is there another brand of oil filter I can use in my 2004 Yamaha V-Star 1100?

Is there a common brand of oil filter (hopefully one I can buy at the local auto parts store) that can replace the Yamaha 4X7-13440-90 filter?

k and n make good oil filters as well as air filters
