We have several iPads in our classroom that we use with special ed. students. It would be great if there was an app that could be activated at times to "turn off" the home button or the volume button. Several of our students focus only on those two buttons, and will not correctly use an app: they will continually turn the volume up and down, or will keep turning the app off by pressing the home button. The only way I have found to stop students from doing this is covering up the buttons with my hands. You can't use tape to cover the buttons - then they focus only on the tape and try to peel it off. These are elementary age students with disabilites such as autism or Down Syndrome.
Is there an iPad app to control the home button/volume button, etc.?
