First things first, I know the popular ones. I've heard of the big three, I've heard of the top 20 on MangaFox, and a lot of Shonen Jump published titles.
Shoujo, Shounen, Seinen, Josei, I don't mind any of them.
I just want something to fangirl over. Like what I did with Neon Genesis Evangelion and Code Geass and Lucky Star. Nothing extremely Ecchi. Please. I can't take it with Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou.

SO. I particularily like shoujo in the manga department, but action and adventure and such are cool too. Anything that's well written and has nice art, or a smooth animation. I absolutely detest bad animation and too much gore can scare me off, but if it's like Highschool of the Dead, then I'm completely fine with it. Classics (like Evangelion), anything extremely popular, and cliches I know.
