Is there a worse actor than Orlando Bloom?

The Hollyoaks cast...

Orlando Bloom is a cheesy, annoying actor. He's typecast already, so playing a completely different role would be silly.

His 'big speech' in Kingdom of Heaven was just toe-curlingly bad, really really weak. Ridley Scott, hang your head in shame for inflicting this festering piece of cheese upon us.

Orlando Bloom has no screen presence, no projection, no voice, not a jot of talent, his only contribution to the film was that eye squinting thing he does for the close-up shots as if he's looking into the sun.

He should stick to Pirates of the Caribbean where he just has to look pretty and run around a bit.

Anyone seen The Calcium Kid?

He's not been around long enough for people to judge him as being the worst actor ever and he's still learning. He's not made many wise choices of roles but he's establishing himself and however you feel about his acting in KoH its a world away from The Calcium Kid.

Maybe he should have learned to act BEFORE he started auditioning for the major parts in major movies? I know I'd be a mite cheesed off if I hired a plasterer and the first day on the job he patently didn't know what he was doing but said 'Don't worry, I'm sure I'll pick it up as we go.'

i know theres still connection to the first benifer but i thought that this sentance was gonna go I just can't think of him without thinking of J-Lo's butt, as they are both le grande arzes :D

That's slightly pedantic and that's certainly not what I meant

You can't tell me every actor who starts out is amazingly good at what they do. Look at Tom Hanks for a start - who would've thought that someone like him attached mainly romcom's could a) win an Oscar for a serious role and b) become one of Hollywood's highest bankable stars.

I think the truth is that guys like Orlando Bloom and Paul Walker get roles based on their supposed looks. There are much more talented actors out there without a doubt, but Hollywood is shallow and would prefer to cast eye candy over real talent.
