Is there a way to upgrade the electrics on a 1988 Yamaha RXS100?

It's all on a 6v system at the moment and the headlight is real dim. Is there a way to maybe boost it to 12v, even if it's just the front headlight?
 
no easy way to upgrade to 12v, way too much to change to make it cost effective, dont think this was ever offered optionally by the factory on these small yams...however, if its the headlamp light output that is bothering you why not just sort that out, I had a CB100n many years ago(also 6v and dim) and got an upgrade to the headlight ...a replacement bulb and headlight lens and that did improve things somewhat
