is there a way to tell if parental controlls have been put on my verizon phone?

im not a kid..im on my boyfriend plan family share and i never see the bill im wondering if there is a way i can tell if he has controls placed on my phone. I read how u can know where a person is and block #'s and stuff. Its odd that some ppl cant text me so if someone knows a way other than looking at the bill..it would help alot
