Is there a way to set up wap on cricket without having to dial #777

Hey I have an xv6600 and I had the wap working however I flashed the phone with a verizon update for the OS wm2003 and now I have no wap. Is there a way to set it up to connect to the network without setting up a dial connection. I dont want to have to wait for it to dial up every time I want to use the wap function. I have cell and txt but no wap can anyone help??

thanks healthman345, I updated my os to wm2003 and service pack 2 to update the ringer volume and the wmp to version 10, When I did that I can no longer make calls or connect to the wap since I got it set up finally how do I flash the phone and or re set up the phone to recieve and make calls. What info do I need? The ESN is already registered with Cricket and i cannot perform the *228 it says programming and then says unsuccessful any help would be awesome.

yes it goes to cricket when I dial *228 has the message welcome to cricket please wait for confirmation that your phone is programed and then says we are sorry but we can not program your phone at this time. When I try to make a call it tells me sorry but your phone is not authorized for use at this time and disconnects me.

*228 will not work with your phone. sounRAB like there is something wrong at crickets end
