is there a way to know the software on my gti if i brought it doing 20psi of boost?

so i just brought the car super fast internal swhich out and everything from an aution so i can ask the owner what type of work doen...has epi motor mounts and boost gauage picking up 20psi of boist but i dont know what type of software is on the the car...how do i find out or can i put revo stage 1 on and it would deletell the current
