...electronics off its battery? i have a yamaha VStar 1100. 2002 model. Maybe somone might know the type of shop I could take it to?
 
there is only one way I know how to do it
if you get a small power converter they have battery terminal hook-ups that connects to the battery
these are found at any truck stop or radio shack
but, the only problem is it will run down your battery fast so you may not want to do this
it will also make you have to replace your battery more often
