Is there a way to get rid of the history of stuff you have downloaded?

i download a lot on my computer, and somehow my brother can find out what i download, i dont know what it is but i think its like the download tracker or something but i just want to be able to download all i want and be able to hide the fact that i do, is that possible?
 
in firefox hit Clear List on the download manager...after that hit your user account name hit downloads delete everything in it the go back to your user forlder then my documents...then downloads the delete everything there...in IE do the same thing but without clear list step...
 
Yes. Go to Tools, then to Internet Options, then in the General Tab you should see Browsing History, there should be a button to delete. This may vary depending when browser you are using.
