I would like to use the Acura navigation software in order to take advantage of navtraffic and weather. Knowing that Honda/Acura likely share the exact same nav hardware. How could I get my 2010 pilot to load say the MDX navigation software to enable those features?
From what I could research, the navigation disc is the same across all honda/acura models but loads model specific software based on a model identifier probably located on the navi dvd reader under the seat. So I'm thinking if I bought a MDX navi dvd reader, it would then load the acura version of the software?
