Is there a user friendly remote desktop media player?

Is there a scaled down media player easy for using on a PDA "remote desktoped" to another computer that is playing the music playing the music? Currently im using iTunes but it's difficult to control the volume and see/read the songs. Either a program for the computer or the PDA?
