Is there a secure way to park a road legal quad bike in the street?

I am considering buying a road legal quad bike, but I only have access to on street parking. Is there a safe way to secure the bike?
 
There are many things you can do to "try" to secure your quad on the street.
There are clubs to lock the steering, alarms, leaving in 5th gear, and so on...
Unless you chain the quad to a poll, there is no safe way.
SA couple stong people can pick it up easily and throw it on a trailer.
Not a recommended thing to do.
