Is there a safe way to ship an HD tv overseas?

Hey, I'm moving to Hong Kong next year for college and I was also thinking about getting an HD tv. But I don't want to get it now, if it's not worth bringing over to Hong Kong. Is there a safe/near guarantee way to ship it over, without it being damaged?
 
Go over there first and see what type of power requirement and system they are using. Every country has different system, like voltage etc.
