come back home? I'm trying to help a friend and I don't know what to do. She's abused by her dad and has so much stress in her life, it's crazy. She's in sports, she's behind on homework, and she wants to run away. She can't stay at my house cuz my mom will tell her mom. I'm trying to find like a home where abused girls can go to but I can't find one. She lives in Orange County around Tustin/Irvine. Anyone know of a safe place for abused girls to go to around that area? And one that's free? She doesn't have a job and she's 17. It's kinda urgent cuz she's planning to run away and never return. I want to help her. I just don't know how

Of course all she has to do is tell a school counselor or go to a ywca women's shelter and tell them.

The courts will find her a foster home. You may think that this isn't too cool, but it's much better than the alternative. The police need to be contacted before anything else happens. Ask your mom to call them the next time she comes to your house.
