...apartment? I heard of this through someone I work with, I just wanted to find out if it was just a word of mouth or an actual right. My fiance & I have a medium sized dog and a cat, both animals are over 7 years old, house trained & quiet. We both make good money, are clean & reliable, yet we're having issues finding an apartment, not because of money, but because of the "No pets allowed" policy.
It seems every single apartment has this policy.
Is there something that forbids the discrimination of pets?

To add, I'm not getting rid of our pets, they are like family, raised them, it's ridiculous, & yet all these animal shelters put down animals because no one wants them.
