I really don't know how to word this, but I was watching a news report about face reading where they split this man's face in half and re-matched the sides together. Meaning they took the left side of his face and duplicated/mirrored it so his face was the same on the right as it was on the left. They did the same with his right side, so instead of his natural face (asymmetrical, different sized/shaped features on each side) it showed what he would look like if both sides of his face matched (left-left, right-right matching).

There's the news report.
I'm wondering if there's a program I can use to do this to faces? Or even just what the effect is called so I can search for it on my own?
I'm guessing it's mirror-imaging, but what I need is a program to do it with.
