Is there a program I can download onto my PC that will help me transfer a DVD to

my computer? For Film Theory class, we've been assigned the job to take one of our favorite movie scenes and burn it to another DVD. ONLY that scene. But all the programs I've heard of are either for Macs or really suck on a PC. Is there a program you guys recommend that works to do this and that isn't too difficult to understand?
