Is there a program for educating uneducated adults?

I've had no education what so ever, I would like to change that. does anyone know of a program that will educate an adult in the basic educational categories and help me achieve higher education.

The only reason I can spell is because I taught myself on the web.
 
Your local community college should be a great place to start. There are a lot of good online schools that have varying levels of higher education. If you need high school level coursework, then I would enroll in a night school/ GED program.

Libraries are the best. I taught myself more than school ever did- unfortunately today employers only care about credentials.

Another place is JobCorps. If you are the right age and fit the requirements, you could get a great career path. One of my good friends did this and in an engineer now. It was free for him too.
