I'm considering declaring business or political science as a major, since I want to become a lawyer. However, my mother is also a lawyer (criminal law), and said that these days, lawyers are a dime a dozen, and that it will be VERY difficult to get a spot at a firm, and/or be hired as an associate. I live in Los Angeles, if that helps any, but is there still a pretty good demand for lawyers, especially pertaining to entertainment and criminal law?
