I live in North Carolibna. I am 20 years old. Me and two other friends went and egged one of our co-workers house four nights in a row. The fourth night we got caught. The reason that we got caught was because one of my friends threw the egg boxes into the street and they tracked the serial number back to where they were bought. And we actually ended up egging some cars on the side of the road on the fourth night. And when the cops came to find us, we told them the truth, we did not lie and were very cooperative. Anyways, I ended up getting 4 charges to injury to real property and 3 charges to personal property and have to go to court. The police officer that will be in court with us said that he is taking our side and is going to talk to the judge. I am wondering what my punishment could be. and how much I will have to pay in fines?

Yes, Get a lawyer and NEVER talk to police in the future without a lawyer present. They lie and bully people to "Cooperate" which is merely a cute way of saying incriminate yourself.
And your right to not incriminate yourself is protected by our Constitution. One of my favorites is them saying "Do yourself a favor and confess". Right, what they mean is do us a favor. If you need to confess, confess to your lawyer or priest.

Again, get a lawyer.

A public defender should work out in a case like this. As long as you don't have a large criminal record and you plead guilty to all counts, you should likely avoid jail time. I would not assume that your fines would exceed $750-$1,000 (including court costs and restitution). You should also expect to be placed on probation for up to a year.
