Most legal transcations and serious business transactions need the both parties to be above the legal age or at the legal age.
Why?
Because it is also considered to be the age of independence where you can consent to anything.
Being under 18 requires your parents to co sign a contract with you.
Besides, being under 18 is a long way to go. Sorry, but I doubt that your photography can catch up to those who actually makes a living out of it.
And yes, I believe that skill is relevant to age.
