Plenty. Fire is a good example -- moves in the direction of combustibles, consumes combustibles, moves on, moves in response to wind.

Depends on your definition of cell, now doesn't it? Originally "cells" referred to rooms in a monastery. Those cells were certainly not living! Biological cells were named after these rooms.

Sure. Air expands and rises in response to heat from the sun. Water freezes in response to temperature change. The oceans rise and fall in response to the gravitational pull of the moon.

Cells are found in living organisms only.
