i have locs that are about 4 inches pass my shoulders and have been growing and maintaining them myself for quite someetimes as it saves me money and time however, i have been thinking about cutting them off and restart them to make them thicker. i have had several break off being too thin and eventually had to make 2 dreads into one. by having to go that route, they still are not as thick as i want them to be. i prefer for them to be atleast an inch and a half to 2 inches thick. i really dont want to cut them off since i have had the patience to go this far but i would like for them to be thicker than what they are. is there a method or any products i could use to unlock them without starting all over again or should i just continue to maintain them and allow for several months of new growth to set in and then cut them and start over? if there is anyone here that could help or know of a professional loc technician in the immediate dc area id like to hear from you here or send me an email @ [email protected]. thanks in advance!
