im having assessments and exams at school. ive been memorizing a lot of speeches and oral presentations all about 1000 words long. i've done three in the past two weeks and i currently still have one more to do... on top of that, i've been revising for all nine subjects im taking at school.
my question is, is there a limit to how much information the brain can retain?
seems like the things im trying to remember are different -simply memorizing as to understanding more complex concepts
and can we choose to forget or 'wipe out' the things we've memorized for short term that will no longer be needed in the longrun?
would it lessen my ability to retain the information in my revision if im memorizing long pieces of writing?
or even better... can i INCREASE this capacity if there is one?
