Is there a liberal bias in the media?

I spend a lot time harassing people on the Politics forum. So I want to come over to see how folks in this category think about the news media in the U.S. I am hoping to get answers from people who are not left or right wings.

Is the media in the U.S. liberally biased? If so, do you think it is heavily or only slightly biased?
