Is there a law in IL that helps renters get out of their lease b/c of buying a home?

My husband and I just bought a house and we are still obligated to our lease until Feb 2009. Is there anything out there that can help us get out of the lease and not have to pay for the rest of the term of the lease? We were told about a law that helps renters get out of the lease in IL. Does anyone know about this and if so, how does it work? What do we have to do to get out of the lease? We need to get out of it by July 1, 2008. Any info would be great. Thank you.
