Is there a job like in the game "Splinter Cell"?

I was playing Splinter Cell earlier today, after digging it back out, and I decided that the job Sam has in the game, that is, a Covert Black Ops Agent, seemed like it would be a job I would highly enjoy. I was wondering if there really was a job like in Splinter Cell, and, how would I go about obtaining it when I graduate?
I don't care about anyones opinions. I think, if there is a job that involves stealth, such as Splinter Cell, I would like to try it. It seems like it would be interesting, working for the government. I'm asking for information, not opinions.
