on it? Ok, so i have 100's of hours of home videos that i have been burning onto dvds. I pulled them out the other week and the dvds were glitching and freezing. I have tried about 5 different brands of dvds and changed the speed that its burnt at, non has worked. So is there a hard drive you can plug into your laptop and put videos on it and then plug it into the tv and then watch the videos?

if you like video games, you could get the ps3, because you can stream videos from your computer to the ps3 and watch it on your tv. you could also try an hp mediasmart server. i don't personally have one, but from what i've seen on commercials and stuff, you can stream videos to an hp tv. but if you have a laptop or a desktop close to your tv and you want to take a less complicated route, you could just hook your laptop to the tv via hdmi cable or video out.
hope this helps :)
