Is there a glossy paint that looks black, has purple highlights, and is safe for metals?

I'm trying to get paint for this figurine, and I want him to be shiny, look black (or very close to black), and have the points on him that are reflecting the most light look like a dark purple. In other words, it'd probably have an effect similar to the ink in a black bic pen... but it'd be a paint that would dry on metal and not come off.

Paints applicable by brush are preferable, since I'm going to need to go into some fairly intricate details, and dark paints can get pretty difficult to cover up with lighter colors. However, I won't turn down any ideas that could give me the desired effect, even if it means a little extra work.

Anyone have any ideas?

I've seen the chameleon paints on cars. That should work on metal. Try a hardware store or auto store.

go to homedepo and ask a employee where the paint section is there you will find what you need....hk
