Get a TV-out cable for ur digital camera, when u go to the shop to buy the cable specify the camera model OR just take it to the shop, it wont be hard to find as all cameras are compatible with TV-out facility even cheap chinese ones and to view pics and videos from ur memory stick u will have to put it in the camera and then plug the cable to the camera and then plug the other end of cable to the TV(any tv CRT, HD or HD ready will work).

No, the only way you can read off of a memory card, like SD, is if there is something built in. The TV is a TV, not a computer.

Some vendors (kodak...etc) sell camera docks that you can plug into an HDTV, just go to your digital camera's vendor's website, and see if they have an online catalog so you can look for the dock.
