Cause my neighbors always get mad when I shoot my .22 in my backyard and a bb gun is to weak to kill squirrels. So I was wondering if there is a cathridge between a bb and a .22 that doesnt make much sound.
I killed a lot of squirrels with my Crossman BB gun when I was a kid. Ten pumps and one BB to the head or neck area usually did it. I did accidentally shoot off a few tails. A BB is .177 caliber verses a .22 caliber rifle. The do sell air rifles that shoot .22 caliber pellets.
You might just invest in an air rifle that can shoot a BB at higher velocities.
