is the yamaha eg112 a good guitar?

cuz really im sick of the fender strat thing, its a trouble a for me, every time im going to do a show i have to shange my pickups cuz they sound bad, i want somethin that looks like strat and good with good pickups. are the yamaha guitars good?
 
Sick of a Fender Strat? If it's a proper US made one, you can't get much better than that. But I suppose it's a personal preference.

But by and large, Yamaha does make very good instruments, I have a yamaha piano and acoustic guitar, and they're both really really nice to play.
But Fender's hard to beat when it comes to electric guitars...

Go into a music shop and ask if you can have a go, see which one you like better.
