Is the Yamaha APX900 a good guitar?

I want an acoustic-electric guitar that is easy to play and sounds good unplugged but also plugged in.
I forgot to mention that the type of music I play is contemporary R&B and neo-soul. For example, Maxwell, boyz ii men, ne-yo, alicia keys, indie arie, usher, etc
 
eh.... yamaha's aren't that great. I have two myself. a nylon and a steel string.
It all depends on your price range. if it's small then, yeah, yamaha's alright. you can always go for an ibanez, they're pretty cheap and sound good.
But guitars are like fine wine, the older they are, they better they sound (no, not taste)
if you have no price range, I suggest a fender. great pick ups, acoustics, wood, bridge, neck... everything.
