Is the Yamaha Aerox moped suitable for having a passenger?

1. If there is a grab handle in the form or a strap on the seat OR behind the seat in the form of a rigid handle AND there is suitable footpegs/boards for the passengers feet then it is ok in principle. If those things are not there it is illegal to carry a passenger on any two wheeler

2. In reality the poor little 49cc restricted engine and the puny suspension is not very practical for passenger carrying. Could find hills that it will not go up with a passenger.
 
Yes, they are mad for two people.

In ibiza, i rented aerox mopeds all the time and they hande two people well round town. top speed for about 25mph on a 50ccm and 55mph on a 100
