Back in feudal times there was no internet so of course dojo doesn't encompass an internet address. Never the less people come here to learn on a daily basis. There are belts, and no doubt certain accepted ranks, and even a culture of etiquette. It may still lack certain aspects, but maybe that's cause its a poor dojo or a new dojo. Maybe theres no name or purpose or mission statement. There's still the same anonymity as when you bow onto your mats leaving your ego and daily life behind. There is always people who come and go, people who never learn, people who think they know it all, people who are looked up to, people who are ridiculed (if your dojo has people that ridicule).
