Is the world going to end in the year 20012?

The world will never end. It will always be there, but we are the ones that might end. Our species will probably become extinct long before then.
The world has been here billions of years before we existed and it will be here billions of years after we are gone.
 
No, the current era of human experience is set to end in the year 2012, not 20012. "The World" is not going to "end", but there are going to be signifigant events and global changes taking place in the social, natural, economic, political, and spiritual aspects of life. There are many many theories, mythologies, and prophecies regarding the year 2012, but much of it is full of symbolism and conjecture, and there's not really much that anyone can say exactly, other than "something" is going to happen, and it's big. I won't go into my own work on the matter, but there is a lot of information out there on the subject
