apparently, the graphics are way better than gamecubes. no one in their right mind would take their last consoles innards, and just put them in a new box. the graphics rival, if not surpass those of the original xbox, so if you think that is absolutely disgusting, then the wii is not for you. this console was designed with one mission in the mind of the developers "lets make a purely innovative and fun gaming system, and not make graphics the most important thing." and that is what they did. talk to anyone who owns a wii, and they will tell you right off the bat how fun and awesome this gaming machine is. its not a dvd player. its a video game console, and if you ask me, nintendo pulled it off perfectly.
