Is the Wii fun to play by yourself?

I play VGs mostly by myself, so I was wondering if it's worth the buy. Also, anybody getting tired of playing with the Wii yet?

My friend who did the wii60 thing said he really only plays his wii when he has company, otherwise it's all xbox all the time. Personally, I'm going to buy PS3 in the fall so I can do the whole hd movie/game scene but then again, that's not what you're asking. I guess a direct answer, from my source, would be no.

I have a wii and I like to play it solo, although it it much more fun to play with people .

A lot of the more 'gamer' games for Wii are being released for the gamecube at the same time. (I know the Zelda game was.) I'd grab the 360 personally.

plus there bringing out RE 4 I think soonish and that's a FPS.

The Wii could potentially be fun for solo play, but most of the games that are out right now are party games or collections of minigames and they are only fun with other people.

Is the PS3 or 360 fun to play by yourself, or do you invite a friend over for some duo action, say a sports game? Remember when split screen was fun? Or when you could connect two PS1s together to two separate TVs? Or NFL Blaze where you gave off the controller to the other person when his turn came up?

Some of us are sick of having our friends spill beer on the carpet and put cigarette burns on the carpet, or having a friend throw our controllers against the wall because they get angry.

I've been playing Resident Evil 4 by myself, it's a fun game. I play most of my video games by myself, unless there's company -- then everyone loves the Wii.
