Is "The Village" worth a watch?

Well i did indeed watch this last night & i thought it was alright.I'll be honest here & say i didn't see the twist coming & on the subject of the twist i did think it was clever.

I did feel the film was pretty slow at times & when we were introduced to the Creature.I thought either the budget for this film isn't that great so the best they can do is put some actor in a costume or that was the whole point to show us it was indeed 1 of the adults in the Creature costume & the Creature in the forrest was just a myth.

As for sending the blind girl to get the medicine.I can see why her father allowed her to go but even at that she nearly got herself killed.Plus did he forget to tell her that she would have to climb over a wall to get into this village?.

i saw this years ago - in fact buying it on dvd when it first came out (that being my first time i saw it as well) and never saw it since! i did enjoy it though,

but why didnt one of the elders just simply go through the wooRAB to collect the medicine????

Because all the elders made a pact to never go back to the towns, something like that.
